Red White & Green Flannel Hash at Orange Table in Phoenix

50 Cities 50 HashesJenni Ferris at Orange Table in Phoenix!

Being new to a city has its pluses and minuses. One plus is discovering new restaurants and what better way to find a new restaurant than host a hashcapade?! I began my search and quickly settled on Orange Table in Old Town Scottsdale. On a beautiful Sunday morning we gathered on the patio with a group of wonderful friends. We began with the flannels; red, green and white. The red was a huge favorite with the beets and corned beef and potatoes, the perfect combination.

After piling our plates full of these wonderful dishes and beginning to nosh, we were presented with the hash. Corned beef, Veggie (my absolute favorite), Monaco (covered with a nice layer of provolone), and Chimichurri. The eggs were cooked to over-medium perfection and we asked for a variety of toast. Everyone was over-the-moon happy.

We didn’t want to miss any of the dishes, so we had ordered one (okay maybe two) of every hash and flannel on the menu! Go big or go home!!! We went big and went home extremely happy and full. When we thought we couldn’t possibly have eaten another bite, the kitchen sent us what can only be described as dessert: Bananas Foster French Toast. Because who doesn’t love a little breakfast dessert?

Thank you so much to the staff at Orange Table for having us and treating us so well. We will be back and we will tell everyone we know to drop by for the awesome hash!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and has some of the most delicious options, like hash!   My husband and I love to eat hash, whether it’s what we have created at home or finding the perfect concoction at a favorite restaurant.  I can be found at:  Jenni’s Ferris Wheel of Food  and you can find me on Twitter at FerrisWheelOf.
